Tracy King Chief, Learning Strategist & CEO of InspirEd, just wrote an op-ed for Forbes to help podcasters who have courses to offer more closely align their two offerings. She says these tips will help them “partner up effectively and generate measurable impact.”

She sees a “disconnect between the podcasting initiative and these organizations’ programmatic offerings,” and says that podcasts should align with programs to “give prospects a next step within your portfolio of options.”

Here are the titles of her tips:

  1. Invite course speakers to be podcast guests

2. Place speaker interview episodes in your sales funnel as bonus content

3. Include your course CTA in your show notes

4. Drop mid-episode ads for your course offer

5. Level up your game with moveable content

6. Leverage podcast content in freemium courses

7. Include relevant episodes as bonus content in your premium course

8. Align podcast themes with upcoming course launches

9. Livestream events at episodes

10. Get involved in other podcasts to reach a wider audience
