National clean energy nonprofit Generation180 is launching Comedians Conquering Climate Change, hosted by comedian Esteban Gast. The show will feature a different guest comedian each week to discuss a range of clean energy and climate topics–with a hearty dose of humor.
The weekly podcast is the newest initiative from Generation180 to change the narrative around climate and clean energy, using humor to educate and inspire individuals to take action in their communities, with their shopping decisions, and at the voting booth. Research shows that humor lowers defenses, helping to introduce new perspectives as well as break down barriers and divisions among people to help find common ground.
