Westwood One have recruited John Wordock for the newly created role of Executive Editor, Podcasting. Wordock will assume his responsibilities in New York City, February 15, reporting to Suzanne Grimes, President of Westwood One. He joins Westwood One from The Wall Street Journal, where he most recently served as Executive Producer, Podcasts.

“As the fastest organically growing podcast network in the U.S. in 2018, Westwood One is thrilled to welcome John to the leadership team,” said Grimes. “With almost 15 years of experience in podcast development, production, and distribution, coupled with his journalistic roots, John will help us expand our content portfolio with a commitment to quality and scale.”
Wordock said, “I’m honored to be joining a company with such a robust history and strong commitment to audio. I look forward to working closely with Suzanne Grimes and the team as we continue to fuel the meteoric growth of Westwood One Podcast Network.”
