Pineapple Street Studios launched Stay Away from Matthew Magill, an Audacy Original about reporter Eric Mennel discovering a lost box of secrets from a man who died alone in the woods on the Florida-Georgia border.
Matthew Magill was an old man that lived alone in the woods, and “a series of coincidences leads reporter Eric Mennel to the box, sending him on a five-year search to understand the truth about its owner.”
The box contained letters and diary entries about incredible people that Matthew Magill knew from his apparently incredible life. He hijacked a 747 in the 1970s and lived a life of luxury from selling drugs in the 1980s in Florida. According to the trailer, reporter Eric Mennel’s life intertwined with Matthew’s and the life he left behind.
