What if? The Len Bias Story Revisits Tragic NBA History

The Ringer Podcast Network from Spotify Studio announced a new documentary podcast examining the tragic life of basketball player Len Bias who died from “cocaine intoxication” in 1986. What If? The Len Bias Story will launch on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

Bias’ death shocked the sports world and put the fear of drugs into sports fans everywhere and launched a drug war that continues to this day. The show will be hosted by Ringer Staff Writer Jordan Ritter Conn who previously hosted The Ringer’s Sonic Boom: How Seattle Lost Its Team.

The seven-part Spotify original series will include these featured guests:

Danny Ainge, Lefty Driesell, Sonny Vaccaro, Spencer Haywood, John Lucas, Mike Wilbon, Scott Van Pelt, Jackie MacMullan, Bob Ryan, and Lonise Bias (Len’s mother)
