Analytics and attribution company Chartable says their new product SmartPromos empowers podcasters, media companies and advertisers to measure the impact of podcast ad campaigns for promoting new podcasts.
CEO Dave Zohrob says podcast promos have become one of the fastest-growing kinds of ads. “Whether you’re a publisher looking to reach the top spot on Apple Podcasts, or a brand trying to increase awareness of a new branded podcast, promos are a key way to grow your show—and SmartPromos is the first and only solution for precise measurement.”
The Chartable SmartPromos platform measures both baked-in ads via an RSS prefix as well as dynamically-inserted ads, through partners including ART19, Megaphone, Triton, AdsWizz, and Acast. Chartable has measured nearly 200 million SmartPromo impressions to date from media partners including iHeartRadio, Cadence13 and Pineapple Street Studios, both part of Entercom’s podcast network, Pushkin Industries, Condé Nast, Pacific Content, and Wondery among many others.
