Em Schulz and Christine Schiefer, hosts of the comedy podcast, And That’s Why We Drink announced a Cryptid Poetry Slam virtual live show on July 17th at 7 pm EST featuring creepy emo poetry and cryptid-related listener stories. Tickets are $10.50 here.
This is not the first live event for the show with over 80 million downloads and Spotify ranked as the #6 True Crime podcast. Last year they hosted two virtual events and donated all net proceeds from the ticket sales to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute created to protect Black trans people.
Their new show will be paired with an online auction that includes creepy items donated from some of their favorite small businesses, and all proceeds from the auction will be donated to Asian Americans Advancing Justice.
