That’s what the fine folks at Edison Research and Triton are telling us. 36% of Canadians 18+ are now weekly podcast listeners, according to The Infinite Dial 2019 Canada report. Monthly podcasting listening grew 36% amongst the 18+ population in Canada over the past year, according to the new study. That’s up from 28% in the 2018 survey.
The latest stats from our northern neighbors were presented at the Canadian Music Week Radio Summit in Toronto by Edison SVP Tom Webster and Triton SVP Stephanie Donavan.
