Streaming audio platform TuneIn has teamed up with Amazon’s Audible to distribute Audible Originals to TuneIn users.
The partnership will see TuneIn distribute dozens of Audible Originals, including Hit Job, American Football, Think Like a Champion, The League and Punk in Translation.
“Get ready for true crime, sports, post-apocalyptic fiction, and more — we can’t wait for you to experience what we’ve put together,” a TuneIn spokesperson wrote in a message to listeners.
Like other platforms, TuneIn has been focused on building up its content library as it seeks to woo more podcast listeners to its streaming application. Last September, TuneIn reached a deal with podcast producer Bleav to bring a handful of sports-centric on-demand shows to its platform. It also has deals with professional sports leagues and major cable news channels to simulcast programming on TuneIn.
