“Beneath” is loosely inspired by historical events and conspiracies surrounding the infamous sinking of the RMS Titanic. This is Rooster Teeth Studio’s first entry into scripted audio.
The scripted eight-part audio series follows present-day scientists, academics, and treasure hunters as they descend into the ocean’s depths. There, the crew uncovers an ancient force that threatens to change the world as they know it.
“There’s an intrinsic relationship between sound design and horror storytelling that makes ‘Beneath’ a natural fit within the scripted podcast space," said Allie Watson, Rooster Teeth Studios’ Development Manager. “The distinct soundscape is essential to creating the visceral terror that drives the series and we can’t wait for people to experience the ride.”
