Danny Define and Brittany Burke launched the podcast A Couple Casuals last June during the height of the pandemic because “they needed a hobby to kill off the boredom.“It’s a “feel-good podcast covering a wide range of everyday topics, seen through the eyes of two millennials.”

The two great friends met over 15 years ago during freshman year at Francis Howell North High School in St. Charles, Missouri and they haven’t stopped talking ever since. “Conversation comes easy to us,” Define says, “and we aspire to work in media full-time. When the pandemic hit last year, we took up this podcast as a hobby to kill off the boredom and to our surprise, it has developed a nice following!  Our show does not have a concrete agenda, but we do like to keep it fun and light-hearted. In a nutshell, it is a couple of millennials (we are both 28 years old) giving our take on current topics that are trending in our society.”

They occasionally have guests and some of them are Missouri notables like King Scott from the Rizzuto Show on 105.7 The Point, former St. Louis Rams cheerleader Sara Bommarito, and former Channel 5 sports anchor in St. Louis Audrey Dahlgren.

They like to keep things light & topical including- dating, current events, and millennial struggles. We have a segment every episode called “Hate to See it” where we point out everyday things that annoy us, which are mostly people that lack social awareness.

Here are some of their favorite episodes:

Episode 2- “I Need to Clear my Name

Episode 4- “Come Pick Me Up at 7

Episode 5- “Red White & Boozed

They encourage people to submit their embarrassing stories for their “Hate to See it” segment or what they call their “Casualite Confession” stories to acouplecasuals@gmail.com
