The Truth, the fiction podcast from creator, director, and sound designer Jonathan Mitchell will celebrate its 10th year anniversary this month. Mitchell launched The Truth in 2012.
The Truth has been a member of the Radiotopia podcast network from PRX since 2014 when the network first launched. With stories re-published by “This American Life” and NPR’s “All Things Considered,” “The Truth” and Mitchell have been also invited to create with and mentor others in audio fiction, including by public media broadcasters internationally in Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, and Australia.
“As a lifelong fan of audio storytelling, it was my dream to create this show,” said Jonathan Mitchell, creator of “The Truth.” “On the show, we strive to be thought provoking and to leave listeners with something that might stay in their heads for a while. We feel very fortunate to have worked with so many incredibly talented collaborators, and we are so thankful to everyone who’s listened to the past ten years of stories. We look forward to many more stories yet to come.”
