The L.A. Times has been one of a handful of newspapers across the country that has attacked the audio space like a bull in a china shop. This week the Times announced a new True Crime podcast. It’s the 13th audio release from the paper.
The Los Angeles Times, which created “Dirty John,” “Man in the Window” and “Detective Trapp,” will release the true crime podcast**, It Was Simple: The Betty Broderick Murders**next week. Written and hosted by Times Columnist Patt Morrison, the four-part series will examine the Broderick case which took place 30 years ago.
The first two episodes will be available for download Tuesday, May 26, with new episodes dropping every Tuesday thereafter. Listen to the trailer
