Tenderfoot TV has announced two new shows and season two of T_o Live and Die in L.A._ Gambling in the NBA and The Grateful Dead will be topics in upcoming shows. Here are the details
WHISTLEBLOWER — In 2007, an NBA referee, a gambler, and a middleman were arrested on charges relating to a mob-backed betting scheme. Throughout the season, host and sports journalist Tim Livingston will discover the truth of the FBI investigation and explore NBA culture, integrating real-time reporting with a reconstruction of the case and the crimes.
DEAD AND GONE — Over the past five decades, many Grateful Dead fans have mysteriously died or gone missing, even as recent as 2019. Co-hosted by creator and host of hit podcast “Disgraceland” Jake Brennan, as well as “Up and Vanished” host and creator, Payne Lindsey, the series will investigate and tell the stories of the tragedies that have befallen Dead Heads across the country.
TO LIVE AND DIE IN LA Season 2 — New York Times best selling author Neil Strauss will return to the mic with the story of another Hollywood missing person mystery. Season one examined the disappearance of 25-year old actress and model Adea Shabani, who vanished from her Hollywood apartment in February 2018. After uncovering new evidence in her case, the series hit No. 1 on the Apple Podcasts charts, received a Webby Award for Best Podcast in the Crime and Justice category, and was named Associated Press’ Top Podcast of 2019. Season Two will continue to explore mysteries within the Hollywood world, this time focusing on a new missing persons case set in another subculture of LA.
