Ride Home Media, the daily news podcast company, has launched Primary Ride Home, a new daily podcast covering the developments in the 2020 U.S. presidential primary elections.
Every day, veteran journalist Chris Higgins—who has reported stories for This American Life, The Atlantic, and Mental Floss—rounds up the essential news, analysis, and comment, guiding listeners through what they missed that day from the campaign trail.
Higgins says this primary season is dynamic and unpredictable, and it’s just beginning. “Every day is full of movement and action, and I need to be sure I’m up to date on what’s happening. It’s the most important Democratic primary I can remember, that’s for sure. So I spend every single day reading all the primary news and boiling it down, so you don’t have to. If I weren’t the one hosting this podcast, I would be listening to it—because normal people don’t have time to read dozens of articles every single day about this stuff.
