Meg Wolitzer is the new host for Selected Shorts. Wolitzer becomes the first permanent host of the public radio program and podcast since the passing of Symphony Space founder Isaiah Sheffer in 2012.
A stellar array of writers and artists have emceed events in the series—in which our greatest actors transport us through the magic of fiction, one short story at a time—before live audiences at Symphony Space and across the country, and served as guests hosts for the nationally syndicated radio broadcast. Now, Wolitzer, whose own stories have been performed in the series, will be the voice of the popular radio show and podcast.
