Rob Walch from Libsyn gave a stats update on the latest episode of The Feed with Elsie Escobar. His latest numbers are from episodes released in March with downloads measured through April.
The median number of downloads for the month of March was 136, compared to 128 in February. 7% of the shows in the Libsyn library were downloaded 5,000 times or more in March (compared to 6.9% in February)
If your episode is getting more than 136 downloads it is better than half the podcasts out there today. If you get more than 1,100 downloads, you are better than 80% of the shows. More than 3,200 downloads you are better than 90%. More than 7,800 downloads you are better than 95%. And if you show gets more than 19,000 you are better than 98% of the shows out there.
