iHeartRadio in conjunction with Diversion Media launched a new weekly true-crime podcast series called Good Assassins: Hunting the Butcher. Hosted by author and journalist, Stephan Talty, the series enters the world of spies and detectives.
The 12-part series is the podcast version of Talty’s latest book, The Good Assassin, and tells the untold story of the secret mission to hunt down an escaped Nazi murderer named the Butcher. Stephan Talty brings the story to life using interviews with the Butcher’s victims, relatives of Israeli agents, and ex-spies themselves, revealing for the first time this little-known chapter of Holocaust history and the undercover operation that brought The Butcher to justice.
