Today Spotify is rolling out a new suite of curated podcast playlists. They are categorized into genres and categories. Each playlist will be curated by Spotify’s content team.
Three podcast playlists are being curated in six countries: the US, Germany, Sweden, the UK, Mexico, and Brazil. They are called Best Podcasts of the Week, Brain Snacks, and Crime Scene.
The company stated: “We know podcast discovery can be a barrier for many listeners - and these playlists are designed to help them overcome that barrier.”
