Well, that didn’t take long! After a report from the Wall Street Journal on June 11th that Spotify was interested in signing Alex Cooper’s podcast Call Her Daddy to an exclusive deal, they made it official 4 days later for a reported $60 Million.
Call Her Daddy was previously part of Barstool Sports and this is reportedly the largest podcast deal for a female-led show by Spotify.
“I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who has supported, helped and been a part of Call Her Daddy,” Cooper said in a statement. “From its start three years ago, the show has always been about challenging the status quo and manifesting conversations that previously only happened behind closed doors.”
