The streaming pure-play reported earnings Wednesday morning and reported a loss of 76 million euros ($85 million). One year earlier Spotify lost 394 million euros. Revenue at the Swedish based company was up 31 percent to 1.67 billion euros for the quarter. Revenue from premium subscribers, which account for nearly 90% of its overall revenue, rose to 1.50 billion euros ($1.67 billion) in the second quarter. The loss for the quarter was larger than analysts expected.
