ESPN says October was the third straight record month for podcasts and the 10th consecutive month of year-over-year audience growth. The sports network reeled in 46.1 million downloads in October, 6% higher than October 2018.
The leading driver behind the growth was Fantasy Focus Football which was up 25% increase, adding 319,000 uniques and growing to 1.6 million, its second most uniques ever. And, NBA podcast The Lowe Post averaged 666,000 uniques, up 31% over last year.
