Speaker brand Sonos, creative agency work x work known for the On Air Fest, and PRX have collaborated to present the radio and podcast special This Summer of Live Music from the music podcast Object of Sound.
Hosted by author and critic Hanif Abdurraqib This Summer of Live Music talks about how music can help rebuild communities and what it means to welcome live music into our lives again. Guests include Grammy-award-winning musician Esperanza Spalding of the Songwrights Apothecary Lab and Cherie Hu, creator of the “Water & Music” newsletter focusing on commercial, technological, and cultural change in the music industry.
The special is also available for radio and distributed by PRX for free to public radio stations via the PRX Exchange distribution marketplace. and has been aired across the country in markets like Atlanta, Austin, and Norfolk.
