Part of the marketing toolkit for podcasters is to connect with others in the space for networking and guest spots and a new app just launched that aims to streamline that process.
Podbooking, a new social media app for podcasting is now available for iOS and Android. The app features live streaming, groups, direct messaging, and connection with other podcasters worldwide.
Founder Daniela Garcia says they aim to be the LinkedIn of podcasting, connecting podcast hosts with collaborators, but mentions that media buyers are also looking at the platform for advertising opportunities.
The app is free to download and membership is free as well. The strength of any social networking app is its membership and coming out of beta, the app has 867 members now.
