With Spotify’s market value plummeting after the Neil Young controversy last week, Joe Rogan promised to be more balanced about COVID-19 in an apology on Instagram Sunday. The streamer lost nearly $4 billion in value last week.
Rogan said, “If I’ve pissed you off, I’m sorry. I want to thank Spotify for being so supportive during this time and I’m very sorry that this is happening to them and that they are taking so much heat from it.”
Rogan has had several critics of the COVID-19 vaccine on his show and Neil Young pulled his music from Spotify in protest. Rogan said he’s going to try harder to get people with differing opinions on his show.
On Sunday Spotify posted its vaccine content rules.
