TechCrunch reports that Riverside.fm, the platform that many podcasters use to record remote audio and video, announced a $9.5 million Series A that Riverside says it plans to increase hiring and add more features.
Having used Riverside myself, I can tell you that it records local high-quality audio and video in .wav format from each user as well as backup formats. They currently offer a 60-minute free trial with no credit card required.
