QCode, known for their immersive fiction podcasts like Blackout starring Rami Malek of Mr. Robot, and Ambie nominated The Left Right Game starring Tessa Thompson announced a new horror anthology series Bad Vibes narrated by Justin Mcelroy of My Brother, My Brother and Me.
The trailer is a twist on the classic “monster in the closet” trope as a young boy is put to bed by his father and then hears a voice in the closet, Mr. Boogy (Justin McElroy) who sets up the series by saying he will tell him a story in exchange for his fear.
“Feel free to be very afraid,” Mr. Boogy says.
QCode has previously released eleven scripted podcasts, all of which reached No.1 in the fiction category so there’s a good chance this nostalgia-tinged spooky series will as well.
