Wondery has released its newest podcast series called Even the Rich: Murder in the House of Gucci just ahead of the movie premiere of _House of Gucci _starring Lady Gaga on November 24.
On March 27, 1995, Maurizio Gucci – the one-time chairman of the House of Gucci – was killed in cold blood. The murder became Italy’s crime of the century. As a story, it had it all: a rags-to-riches family saga, a vengeful ex-wife, and the glitz and glamor of the world of high fashion. Hosted by Brooke Siffrinn and Aricia Skidmore-Williams**_, Even the Rich: Murder in the House of Gucci _**tells the story of Maurizio Gucci and Patrizia Reggiani and their rise to fame. It’s a tale of love and murder – of passion in extremes. How did a love match turn so sour? And who hated Maurizio enough to kill him? The vengeful family whose business he ran into the ground? Or the proud wife he left behind?
The series will comprise of three episodes and a bonus interview episode. To note, the podcast series sticks to the actual story and is a great listen for anyone interested in learning about this famous family tale.
