A new slate of officers for one-year terms which begin in February have been announced by The Podcast Academy. Current Chairperson Rob Greenlee (Libsyn) and Secretary Kerri Hoffman (PRX) are transitioning out of their officer roles.
The Academy announced Kintan Brahmbhatt (Amazon Music), Amy S. Choi (The Mash-Up Americans), and DeRay Mckesson (Educator. Activist. Author) to the Founding Board of Governors which is now at a full 20 members.
And beginning next year the Podcast Academy will transition from an appointed board to an elected board over two years. All Podcast Academy members will be able to nominate members for consideration, run for the board themselves, and vote for the Board of Governors.
