The Pharmacy profession’s largest network of podcasts, first established in 2009, has chosen Podbean as their new hosting platform. The network has over 50 shows.
“Podcasting is changing. It’s more competitive than ever before. Our listeners need better subject indexing and our clients demand better metrics reporting. We researched 6 other hosting platforms and couldn’t find anything comparable to Podbean’s total services for a large network of podcasts,” stated Todd Eury, CEO & Founder of the Pharmacy Podcast Network. “We’re going to be releasing a live show in the new year. PodBean has an integrated streaming service which will prepare the PPN for internet radio on-demand for several new shows coming in 2023.”
The PPN was the first podcast in pharmacy to release a continuing education podcast in 2019 and today they have 2 different channels dedicated to pharmacists’ mobile education, PTCE Pharmacy Connect and ConveyMED. Continuing education flexibility is in higher demand and the PPN is partnering with pharmacy schools throughout the nation to build podcasts to help supplement pharmacy student learning.
