T_he Guardian_ reports on an Arabic podcast called Eib that is all about the purported flaws of women in Arabic culture and how women are getting over the fear of shame in their culture from breakups to gender identity, and eating disorders.
They talked to the show’s managing producer Talla El-Issa who says that sometimes, “just being a women is eib.”
Instead of the traditional NPR style reporting model, the show normally lets the subjects dictate what they want to talk about, and in doing that El Issa says, they “succeeded in building a new way to talk about these things.”
