NPR announced that their podcasts will now be available to users of Deezer worldwide as Deezer has created their own channel for NPR. Deezer is a French online music streaming service that is entirely ad-supported.
“NPR’s shows and podcasts have an undeniable international appeal due to its universal appeal. From smart journalism to everyday issues including finance and entrepreneurship, to light-hearted comedy and entertainment - we love being able to offer a wide variety of options from NPR to our global audience,” said Camille Sauzières, Non-Music Content Operations Manager, Deezer.
“We are excited about making NPR podcasts available to Deezer users around the world,” said Christina de Quadros, NPR’s Senior Manager of Business Partnerships. “This year is our 50th anniversary and we’re eager to share our journalism and cultural programming with as many listeners and on as many platforms as possible.”
