Podcast studio Echoverse, which focuses on science fiction and the supernatural, has announced a new scripted supernatural series called Necropolis. Adapted by Brian Miller (Apollo 18) from his short-story, Necropolis will star Kate Mara who will also executive produce the audio drama.
_Necropolis _follows Sarah Bishop (Mara) who, after a dishonorable discharge from the army, moves with her two kids to a small California town to work as the deputy sheriff. Her hope for a peaceful new start is thwarted by a series of increasingly ominous supernatural phenomena that seem somehow connected to her personally and begin to threaten the entire town.
“With the depth of Brian Miller’s writing, Project X’s premiere producing expertise, and Kate Mara’s ability to inhabit complex and nuanced characters, we feel like we’ve found the perfect team to bring this chilling story to life,” said Mark Stern, President of Echoverse.
