From Colorado Public Radio, Systemic is a new 4-part podcast on the people working to change how policing is done from the inside and the outside of the system. Systemic provides a look at key facets of the conversations around police reform.
They say it’s “different from a standard news report that summarizes opposing views” in that they recorded the bulk of their show by focusing on Black officers and activists around the country following the murder of George Floyd and “complemented the audio diaries with archival news footage, police communications and narration from producer and host Jo Erickson.”
