Podchaser announced their new podcast API, (application programming interface) built specifically to power podcast discovery. Developers will be able to access Podchaser’s database of podcast data and engagement features including ratings, reviews, and over 11 million creator and guest credits.
They also introduced a “login with Podchaser” OAuth functionality that lets users sync their podcast personality with an app or service and allows for new in-app engagement features like leaving ratings and reviews, and everything else a user would do on Podchaser itself.
There is a free tier available with limited functionality but it does include access to essential data fields, endpoints, & Podchaser engagement features while a “Plus” and “Pro” version are available, however, the website doesn’t specify a price since it seems they will tailor it to a business.
