iHeartMedia launched Pepsi Coach’s Corner, a podcast series drawing on leadership lessons from coaches and executives by sharing insights on what it takes to succeed. Hosted by Michael Rady, they released two episodes on launch day, the first of which featured Don Mattingly.
Michael Rady is PepsiCo’s Vice President of Human Resources for the South Division and the son of Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Coach Pat Rady, who was the direct inspiration for this series.
“Throughout my career, I have witnessed the intrinsic connection between leadership on the sports field (or court) and in business– that the concept of coaching is as important in any work setting as it is in sports,” said Rady. “We created the Pepsi Coach’s Corner podcast to serve as a resource for all levels of leaders, from early career to executive, human resources professionals, and sports enthusiasts alike. Partnering with iHeartRadio provided the perfect platform to share perspectives from respected coaches and leaders in sports and make them easily accessible to listeners at any time.”
They got a big boost from legendary announcer Dick Vitale who cut the promo for their trailer.
