If you ever wanted to know what happened to the piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear that Mike Tyson bit off then boy have we got a podcast for you! Lost in Sports is a new series that seeks answers to sport’s biggest questions.

Lost in Sports comes to us from the sports media company Religion of Sports founded in 2016 by Tom Brady Michael Strahan and Gotham Chopra and in partnership with PRX.

Hosted by sports journalist Ben Baskin––formerly a staff writer at Sports Illustrated the first episode premiered Thursday, May 27 while new episodes will release bi-weekly.

“I’ve always gravitated towards the stories in sports that haven’t been told, the ones without an easy answer,” said Baskin. “So, I created this podcast with a tremendous team at Religion of Sports in the hope that people will enjoy hearing those stories as much as I enjoy telling them. We’ll explore the tales of the lost and the forgotten, the untold mysteries of sports history. And we’ll go on a quest to answer them… which sometimes will get a little weird.”

The first episode “Masters of the Gridiron,” is about a strange short film infused with time travel and sorcery that was released by Cleveland Browns football players in 1986, prophesizing they might become champions.

The trailer is available now.

Future episodes will include The And1 Mixtapes, The Hartford Whalers, Evander Holyfield’s ear, and “NCAA Football 14”.
