Launching on November 5th, Hunting Warhead shines a light into the darkest corners of the internet.
The co-production between CBC Podcasts and Norway’s VG newspaper cracks open an undercover investigation and takes listeners on a chase across the globe to rescue vulnerable children and dismantle the largest child abuse site on the dark web.
Years in the making, the show follows journalists, white-hat hackers, and police on a mission across Norway, Australia, Canada and the U.S. on the hunt to uncover the man behind username Warhead, who ran Child’s Play, a site with over a million users trafficking child abuse material.
The six episode series debuts on the 5th of November, with two episodes being released per week (6 x 45 minutes each).
