Service: Stories of Hunger and War, hosted by Jacqueline Raposo, a food writer and podcast producer, uses the intimate connections that we forge with our foods to tell the stories of hardship and heartbreak of wartime. Each episode will follow a veteran from their home and day-to-day life in the U.S. through their overseas deployment and back again. From WWII vets to present-day soldiers, in this podcast we hear the tales of where they fought, the people they fed along the way, how they ate, and what homegrown flavors they missed the most.
