Yeaaaaah kinda gross that the first episode they’re making anti-Black “hood” jokes and making fun of Jamaican accents.

They were NOT making “anti black” jokes. And they weren’t making fun of the jamaican accent, if anything they were making fun of Miss Cleo.

That’s a very interesting interpretation of that episode’s topic and content.

Mildly underwhelming? People who only listen to Last Podcast won’t know the voices and the people do a sort of mediocre job introducing themselves. The Jamaican accent jokes were fine but there was another bad ethnic joke made by the white guy that came off as “drunk racist uncle”. As far as the subject, well I didn’t come away feeling like I knew a ton more about Miss Cleo than I had before. I was hoping for more drama or at least more information (like was there a reason for her pop culture appeal. A lot of people knew she was fake and were fans.) Also the victims feel a bit hard to empathize with as they’re portrayed here to just have fallen for a very obvious scam by a bad fake. LPN usually does a good job explaining WHY a person joins a cult, these men were a bit less enlightening. 6/10 and that’s with quarantine boredom.

Listening to the first series about about the psychic readers network was fun and informative. Thank you for your efforts. I will definitely be a regular listener.

I didnt really enjoy the podcast. Not funny at all and a little too political. Cut the weird accents and stick to the story. Also need to work on minimizing filler words.
