Bloomberg reports that Netflix has hired their first head of podcasts, N’Jeri Eaton, who was previously head of podcasts for Apple. The division she will be in charge of is mostly focused on audio adaptations of existing properties like The Witcher.
“I’m thrilled to join @netflix as the Head of Podcasts,” Eaton tweeted on July 8th. “16 years ago, I watched three DVDs from Netflix a day while working the late-night lab shift at a university. My obsession for storytelling has taken me all kinds of places but this is truly a dream!”
