The National Association of Broadcasters Convention begins today in Las Vegas and this year Podcasting is getting a ton of attention. Some say more attention than ever before.
As Amplifi Media CEO Steve Goldstein puts it there is a “rich agenda for podcast related content at the NAB next week.” Let’s take a look at what he means…
Goldstein is hosting a “fireside chat” with NPR President Jarl Mohn as part of the Influencer Series. Goldstein tells PBJ he’ll cover a lot of things ranging from how they grew the over the air audience while also exponentially growing their podcast platform. That session is Monday at 10:40am
Goldstein is also moderating the kick-off podcast panel on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. with Erik Diehn CEO of Midroll, Brendan Monaghan, CEO Megaphone/Panoply, Oren Rosenbaum, Digital MediaAgent with UTA, and Max Cutler, CEO, Parcast.
At 2:10 on Wednesday, The Trusted Voices of Podcasting panel includes Spreaker’s Rob Greenlee, Podcast Movement’s Dan Franks, Libsyn’s Rob Walch and Blubrry’s Todd Cochrane. All four are on the Podcast Business Journal Editorial Board.
There’s a podcast mixer, Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Podcasting Pavillion in the Central Hall.
