Podcast management and monetization platform Sounder has completed a round of seed funding that netted the company $1.8 million. The round was led by Ulu Ventures, with participation from Newark Venture Partners, Xoogler.co, a community of Google alumni and current Google employee investors, and individual Spotify and Google executive angel investors. The company will use the money to hire more people, marketing and to further develop its technology and new platform features.
