This time The Wall Street Journal shines a light on Bill Simmons and website The Ringer which hosts a network of 28 podcasts that generate about 35 million monthly downloads. The WSJ story says podcast ad sales at The Ringer exceeded $15 million in 2018 and the company is profitable without having to raise any funding. Check out the story HERE (subscription required).
