Millennial Wealth Builders, a 12-part audio docuseries co-created by Danielle Desir and Acquania Escarne, recently received their third grant to help produce the series. The duo has now received grants from Black & Brown Podcast Collective, iFundWomen and Caress, and Plutus Foundation.
Millennial Wealth Builders highlights the practical strategies millennial Women of Color use to move past obstacles and build real wealth. Episodes include how to become a hotel owner, how to negotiate a pay raise and ways to invest in real estate with no money down.
“We believe the sooner women learn about wealth-building strategies and opportunities, the better equipped they will be to make financial decisions,” said Acquania Escarne.
“Our mission is to spark dialogues that will normalize wealth-building conversations amongst women. Throughout the series, we highlight financial opportunities less known in communities of Color and empower our listeners to take action, obtain wealth, and close the wealth gap. As millennials ourselves, we are discovering new opportunities alongside our listeners,” said Danielle Desir.
