C_BS News_ reports that Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Lohmeier of the United States Space Force was relieved of his command after making disparaging remarks about inclusion and diversity on the podcast Information Operation with host L. Todd Wood.
He claimed that inclusion and diversity were based on Marxism and critical race theory. He was on the show to promote his book Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.
On Friday, May 14, Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, the head of Space Operations Command, told Military.com that Lohmeier had been relieved from his command over a “loss of confidence in his ability to lead.”
“This decision was based on public comments made by Lt. Col. Lohmeier in a recent podcast,” a Space Force spokesperson told Military.com in an email. “Lt. Gen Whiting has initiated a Command Directed Investigation on whether these comments constituted prohibited partisan political activity.”
