Podcast Movement announced Wednesday that Eric Mandy, host of The NewsWorthy, will moderate the closing keynote at the August conference which will include CNN’s Audie Cornish and Dr. Sanjay Gupta. They will discuss the power of storytelling through audio.
Audie Cornish is a CNN anchor and correspondent, who will soon be debuting a new podcast from CNN Audio. Over her two-decade career in journalism, she has co-hosted NPR’s flagship news program All Things Considered and won a Peabody Award. Her interview subjects have ranged from stars to political figures to literary icons, including Bruce Springsteen, former President Barack Obama and Ta-Nehisi Coates.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta is the chief medical correspondent for CNN and hosts the CNN Audio podcast Chasing Life. Since 2001, the multiple Emmy-award winning journalist and practicing neurosurgeon has played an integral role in the network’s reporting on health and medical news in the US and around the world.
