It’s always big news when the Serial team announces a new show. Originally an independent studio that produced the runaway hit Serial that essentially launched podcasting into the mainstream, the company was purchased by the New York Times last year.
Serial Productions and the New York Times have announced their new show, The Improvement Association, a five-part investigative series hosted by reporter Zoe Chace, will premiere on Tuesday, April 13. Against the backdrop of fraud allegations in our Presidential election, this show will zoom in on election fraud in a local congressional race that made national headlines in Bladen County, North Carolina.
Family history and corruption swirl in this series that looks back at ten-years of finger-pointing and accusations of bullying and tampering and real election fraud. Trailer available now.
