The new podcast company, which plans to charge $8 per month for content, ticked off quite a few podcasters on Twitter with a post that said, “Podcasts Don’t Need Ads.” Apparently quite a few podcasters like being paid and quite a few listeners don’t mind a few short ads (that they can skip if they decide to). The company has apologized for its original tweet.
