The Meredith Corporation extended their People Magazine brand with the launch of the weekly podcast People in the ’90s, which takes a fond look back at the people, and brands that defined a decade.
This is the third podcast from the People brand which launched the daily People Every Day podcast in February.
There are 12 planned episodes of People in the 90s with each one representing a different year in the decade and in particular one People magazine issue from that year. The first episode is about power couples, namely Elizabeth Hurley and Hugh Grant.
If you know People magazine, then you know then they’ll be talking about gossip, and feuds, and who was wearing what, and who did it best. Chances are if you like the brand you’ll like the show.
The next three planned episodes focus on Beverly Hills 90210, Paula Abdul, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
